I download my digital pictures to Imagestation.com. --some people use Photobucket. Once they're downloaded, I open them and copy the properties address (URL)...When I post, I open the picture icon (it looks like a mountain and it's yellow.) I copy the property information there.

Then when you preview your post, you should see your picture

I just browse my documents and upload them, I just have to make sure that when I save them into my computer that i size them to 600 x 600 pixels max.
I'm not good with the photobucket either, if you have kids, teens esp. ask them or borrow a neighbour's kid. That's how I got learn a wee bit
p.s. cool pic of Ria, Patti

Griffs,
Just a thought but I had issues posting pics since I got this new computer too.
I could use a hosting service okay but when I hit browse I'd get a beep like a popup blocker. I tried allowing security settings to allow blockups etc but it didn't help.
I found if I right clicked on browse a window opened with undo highlighted. Either clicking that or ignoring it and left clicking on browse opened the download window.
I don't know the why of it or if you have similar issues but thought I'd mention it as we need more kid pics.
Of course I still need to resize to keep it under the 600X600 pixels but a reminder tells me if I forget to do that.

Or like Sue suggests, grab a kid to show you how. I hate that though as it usually goes like this," It's easy Uncle Brian, just do this and this and that".
That's when my eyes glaze over, mind goes blank like when my broker starts talking investments.
That's when my voice gets weak, I swallow my pride and say, "would you mind explaining that one more time, please?"
