Banded Geese......

Out here in utah it seems like it is a 1 in 10 chance to shoot a banded canada goose since they band a ton of local birds. Do you guys find alot of banded canada geese where you hunt?

Bands are pretty rare around Mid-Michigan. Maybe 1 in 100. When we get them, they are usually during the early season. A few years ago, we put a flock of 6 on the ground, all banded. A family group that was banded about 5 miles from where we were hunting.

Up here in Maine we don't see very many.

Not a whole lot of bling coming through here..every now and again..i see more Snows carrying than i do Giants.

We used to see them at times, my buddies shot quite a number while hunting with me but I don't think I ever did. Same with duck bands. Another reason I don't gamble. :)
