well it's finally cold enough and the ducks finally arrived only problem now is the darn seasons closed. Just my luck.

Don't worry we northerners shot your share for you. :D Up until a couple days ago when the ice storm and extreme cold hit, there were still hundreds of mallards hitting the fields around here. This year with the warm January was the first in many years I hunted right to the end of the late goose season. I'm sure we will pay for it next year with an early cold spell pushing all the birds south.
