Where do you do most of your waterfowling? I am doing more and more hunting in harvested crop fields, especially for geese. I have a couple of the camo field blinds that are fantastic for field hunting. I still duck hunt over water but am slowly making my way to the "dark side" of ducks. The divers. A buddy does alot of layout hunting and I'm hooked on it. Nothing like the up close action and speed of the divers out of a layout.

I used to do some waterfowling at area farms, but now only hunt the Mississippi River backwaters. Winona is located on the western bank, so it's close by.

I go to Shiawassee a couple times a year. I've never had the best draw but done okay a few times. I want to go to Fish Point this year and spend more time on Saginaw Bay and Lk. St. Clair.

We have had good seasons and O-K seasons.. We only live about 8 miles from St Charles so it's an easy trip for us.

Only way to go is lounging about on a mat of cattail (Typha spp.) in any North Dakota pothole. Gadwalls galore...
