Beer Bird

At the local Game Farm they will sometimes slip in a beer bird whoever shoots it ......well they buy.Parker had a nice solid point going so I walk up and flush the bird and as soon as it got up I said oh s**t its the Black Pheasant.Now that I look at the picture maybe I will get it mounted.In the light it has alot of blue and purple but when I shot it it does look black.

Now the guys dont forget and will pass the info on to everyone :)

Nice bird . I like the black colour ones I had one mounted last year . It is a conversation piece when people come over. I had it mounted flying. IN different light it is a different colour. Came out nice but I think yours has a little more colour might be nice in a sitting position? You don't really see the breast colours with it flat againest the wall.

Oh...That is a nice mount.The eyes look like hes POd.I quess I would be to if I was hanging on someones wall.

I like to use a piece of drift wood to mount them on.Im going to bring it to the guy tomorrow and should be done fast so I will post a pic.
